Rev. Christopher White
Christopher is our Supply Minister, starting mid March, 2018, and continuing until the end of March, 2019.
Christopher brings a wealth of experience, starting right here at St Mark’s as a student in 1985. He has served at Springbank United Church in Calgary, Westminster United Church in Whitby, and Fairlawn United Church in North York.
An avid writer, he has provided commentary for the United Church Observer (Question Box column), feature articles in Cottage Life and the Globe and Mail, and a number of church related visioning and stewardship books.
Christopher speaks of being proud of his involvement with the United Church for all its forward thinking. He also feels that the church can offer relevant face to face personal interactions that is often so lacking in today’s society.
Alissa duHaskey – Sunday School Coordinator
A bit about me…. I have been doing children and youth Ministry since 1999 and have a diploma in Lay Ministry from Wycliffe College. I was raised in a very small but amazing Presbyterian church in Toronto. I married my high school sweetheart in 1997 and we have three kids.
