THIS SUNDAY

This Thanksgiving Sunday the story of Moses continues.

Services are at 11:00 A.M., with friendship and fellowship at 10:30.

KIDS CHOIR will practice this Sunday after the service

Practices begin after the service and go till 12:45

They will be practicing after service every Sunday until the December 18th Choral Service.


THIS SUNDAY – Accessibility

This Sunday there will be a conversation regarding Accessibility.

Services are at 11:00 A.M., with friendship and fellowship at 10:30.

WELCOME BACK BBQ

On Saturday, September 17th you are invited to St. Mark’s Welcome Back BBQ.

Starting at 5:30 P.M.  It is a Pot Luck meal – an Appetizer, Salad, Dessert would be appreciated.

The meat will be provided.

Come prepared to have fun, food and fellowship!

THIS SUNDAY – Sacrament of Communion

It is hard to believe that summer services are over.   Each of the summer worship leaders had a very meaningful message.

Starting this Sunday (September 11th), we will be returning to 11:00 services with coffee and fellowship at 10:30

Horn of Africa Appeal

The United Church of Canada is deeply concerned about the emergency situation now affecting several countries in the Horn of Africa. On July 20, 2011, the United Church launched an appeal in response to this crisis and is currently inviting donations.  Please click on the 'Horn of Africa Appeal'  icon above for more information or to donate.  Our hearts go out to the millions of people affected.

SUMMER SERVICES

Please note that starting Sunday, July 3rd and continuing through to Labour Day, Sept 4th, the services will start at 10:00 AM.   Summer services are relaxed and casual.

On Sunday, June 19th, we marked First Nations Sunday, celebrated Father's Day and welcomed a guest preacher.

Barrie Wilson, author of "How Jesus Became Christian" was with us, sharing a reflection entitled, "Hidden Voices".

RECITAL - Geoffrey Conquer, Piano and Lauren Forder, Violin

Wednesday June 22nd, 2011 at 7:00 pm in the Sanctuary

Geoffrey and Lauren will be giving a 1 hour recital featuring works by Beethoven, Chopin, Liszt, Brahms and more!

All are welcome and there is no charge.
