St. Marks through its Outreach Ministry Team will be hosting two weekends starting January 25th & 26th as well as February 1ST and 2nd for the Out of the Cold program.

You can get involved by volunteering your time in preparing food for a dinner or breakfast, assist in the set up at  the  church prior to a meal service, help with, or serving the meals.  There is an opportunity to donate food for the preparation of a meal. Please note that Knox United is nut free.    Volunteers will need to arrive by 5pm at Knox United Church for the supper service and 6am for the breakfast service.

You can sign up by contacting Rob or see him after the service on Sunday in the Narthex.

Last but not least, if you wish to help with a donation to purchase food for a meal, please mark an envelope “Outreach-Out of the Cold” and conveniently place it on the offering plate at a service.  You may also leave an envelope with Carol in the office at your convenience.

In his Advent message, Moderator Gary Paterson reminds us that, when we place the star on top of the Christmas tree and let its light shine, we are filled with hope, a promise, and a commitment that this year, in our own homes, Bethlehem will happen again and Christ will be born. May you have a Christmas that matters!
