SUNDAY - June 26th

Outdoors! Animals! Arks and More!

June 26th, 2011, our service was dedicated towards the world's flood myths. We sang, we acted, and we worshiped with creation.

A picnic and strawberry social took place after the service, complete with BBQ, tug-of-war, show toss, nail-driving contest, and a relay dress up!

Here are some pictures - there are more available here.

First Nations Service

On Sunday, June 19th 2011, a group met at Greenvale Park, across from the Guildwood GO/Via Rail Station,at 8: 15 am. This service was just over an hour, and was focused around the Kairos banner-making project as we showed our support for the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples. We then walked over to the Guildwood Station and supported the Via Train as it passed at 9:45.

What are you made of?    What are you made for?

Saturday, April 10th, 1:30 p.m. – 4 p.m.

Join us for an afternoon of reflection and sharing. Using poetry, collage and a walk on the Labyrinth we’ll explore our gifts and passions, and we’ll remember the divine nature of creation that is both our birthright and our gift to the world.

Leadership is provided by Lee-Ann Ahlstrom, Minister for Spiritual Direction and Education at Jubilee United Church. Lee-Ann is also the Chair of the Congregational Life and Youth Ministry Team for Toronto Southeast Presbytery. She is passionate about creating and facilitating opportunities for people to engage the imagination which she believes to be the garden and playground of the soul.
